Job Summary:
Roy Construction Inc is seeking an experienced and organized Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations on residential and/or commercial construction sites. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid background in construction (especially framing), and a commitment to safety, quality, and timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of laborers, carpenters, and subcontractors on-site
- Ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards
- Interpret blueprints and project plans to ensure proper execution of framing and other structural work
- Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce compliance with OSHA and company safety policies
- Monitor material usage, manage deliveries, and maintain accurate inventory on-site
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and inspectors
- Maintain detailed records of job site progress, incidents, and change orders
- Troubleshoot problems and provide practical solutions to keep work moving efficiently
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in construction supervision or lead carpenter role
- Strong framing background and general knowledge of construction practices
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and project documents
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of OSHA standards
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
