Job Summary:
Roy Construction Inc is seeking a reliable, hard-working Construction Laborer with framing experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with general construction duties and demonstrate solid knowledge of wood framing techniques for residential and/or commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with framing walls, floors, roofs, and other structures
- Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and plywood using hand and power tools
- Follow blueprints, schematics, and building plans
- Load, unload, and move construction materials
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations
- Operate and maintain basic construction tools and equipment
- Support other trades and tasks as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of framing experience requested
- Strong knowledge of construction tools, materials, and methods
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or basic layout instructions
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work on ladders/scaffolding, and perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
